Born in the legendary music city of Memphis, Tennessee, I grew up around many greats from Blues, Funk, Rock, and Country genres. This inspired me to pick up the drums over 15 years ago. As soon as I took my first lesson, I was hooked.

Since moving to Bloomington, I have studied under Luke Narey (10 Years, Brave The Royals, Blue Rising) for multiple years, and taken instruction at Indiana University for Jazz and Latin Percussion.

This has led to performing or recording with many different artists, including Bastion Rose, Jukebox Luke, Five Door Sedan, and Hank Ruff, to name a few. These connections have taken me all over the United States, playing at music festivals and other reputable venues, opening up for national and regional acts. I frequently play live gigs in Bloomington at The Bluebird, & in Indianapolis at The Hifi, The Rathskeller, & Tin Roof.

 

I have been teaching drum lessons professionally for 5+ years, with students as young as 6 and as old as 70. I was a teacher at Melody Music Shop until they closed in February 2025, which inspired me to start my own business. 

I have a fun, easy-going attitude with all the experience and skill to prepare you for success, whether it be lessons, studio work, or playing live shows in ANY genre.
